Implementation Erasmus+ Slovenia Started – The First Education Module Almost Over
The implementation of the three-year Erasmus+ KA2 project of Slovenian Elementary School Bistrica ob Sotli and First Elemetary School Varaždin began with realising the first of three modules of education. New modules will be designed for teachers who want to use new technology in their teaching and thereby make teaching more interesting and closer to students.
Within the first module, teachers will learn how to use tablets as teaching tool in intoductory motivational part of the lesson, which applications and platforms can be used to create fun and educational quizzes and how to attract students attention to teaching materials. “It’s importatnt to emphasise that these modules of education do not imply the use of technology for the whole lesson and will only be used as a motivational tool support at the beginning or at the end of the lesson“- said Tea Pavičić Zajec, the project coordinator.
So far, the First Elementary School Varaždin had only one teacher educated to independently use ICT technology in teaching and through the implementation of the project “Competent, therefore I am“, ICT competence will acquire four more school teachers who will share thier knowledge and experience with other teachers interested in technology in elementary schools in Varaždin.
All the levels of the project are available and visible on the project website and all materials and activities will also be presented on disseminational platform, Facebook and eTwinning profile of the project.
