The Second Project Meeting in Slovenia
The second project meeting of the Erasmus+ KA2 project “Challenge the competencies of the 21st century“ was held in Elemetary School Bistrica ob Sotli attended by project teams from both schools – Elementary School Bistrica ob Sotli, which is also the main coordinator of this three-year project, and the First Elementary School Varaždin – project partners.
At the meeting we presented the logo of the project and dissemination website where you can find all the events and all the information related to the project. Both project teams participated in short training how to use and place materials on the project website.
All participants agreed with further activities that will engage teachers to acquire the necessary ICT competencies. The first scheduled training for all teachers in First Elementary School Varaždin will be how to use smartboards in the classroom and how to create digital educational materials. Our teachers have been trained so far how to use tablets in teaching and how to create educational quizzes using tools Kahoot and Plickers.
The next project activity is planned for December, 2016, in our partner school in Slovenia, where will be held a five-day training for teachers of our school.
